Back to Crafting

Dear friends, i'm so sorry for so slow in updating. Currently i'm a bit busy with my new house with so many things and so little time.
But as a 'craftoholic' i do find time to craft. As mentioned earlier i crochet hexagon for my stool and work to refine my tatting skills.
Inspiration from Attic24

My own tatting design. I'm still not satisfied with the result.

Dear Tatters : Simple Tatted Earring Pattern (Part 3)

Dear Tatters : Simple Tatted Earring Pattern (Part 2)

My dear tatter friends, this is my second tatting pattern to share with you. I used cotton yarn, plastic beads and stainless steel hooks for this earrings. It is quite simple to make. If you try to tat this, it will be nice if you could share the picture of your lola earring with me.
Happy Tatting :)

Dear Tatters : Simple Tatted Earring Pattern

As promised to my tatter friends this the pattern for my tatting earrings posted earlier in my blog. This is my first experience transferring my design to diagram. I think it's not bad. I'll try to post the other two earrings.
Happy Tatting.

Orchid and Cappucino Colored Tatting

A beautiful photographer, Nicole bought this earrings. I hope she will have a great time with my earrings.
This color make me think of my fave, Gloria Jean's cappucino chiller. My indulgence. I love it because it tastes like cendol.

Secret Garden

Finally, i've framed 'Secret Garden' last week before i went to Ho Chi Minh. My Secret Garden is a combination of my love towards crochet and tatting. It look aged since it took me a long while to 'grow' it.

Butterfly is crocheted and flowers and lace are tatted.

Tatting Oh Tatting Oh So Delicate

I'm so into tatting now. I learnt tatting from an old needlework book. I tatted since high school for my crochet trimming and lace.

Now i'm designing for earrings. The sketch in the photo is slightly different from the piece.
